Prashanth Bisnath

Summary of experience

Prashanth graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of KwaZulu Natal (former University of Natal University-Durban) in 2000. He took up a position as a Professional Officer with Spoornet Finance from 2001 until January 2002; he then took up a position at Transnet Pension Fund as a Financial Accountant (Middle Management) until September 2004. Prashanth then moved on to Investec Securities Limited as a Management Accountant, where he was employed from October 2004 until August 2007. In September 2007, he joined Vunani Securities Pty Ltd as a Financial Manager, and has taken over the full accounting function of the division. Prashanth left Vunani Securities Pty Ltd to first contract at Diageo Pty Ltd as a Supply Analyst on a three month contract, and to then join FNB Commercial as a Financial Manager in the Information Management Services division in September 2008. Prashanth had a bursary from Spoornet Finance, and served as a mentor to students on the Investec bursary scheme. Prashanth also has an MBA and a Higher Certificate in Taxation.
